Stamford Mergers & Acquisitions was founded by Malte Richter to provide independent corporate finance advice for entrepreneurs, companies of all sizes, private equity and venture capital. Our philosophy is based on simple maxims: Thrift, hard work, duty and simplicity. 

Malte gained his extensive experience over a career of more than 19 years working for major investment banks and specialist M&A houses, such as Credit Suisse, Citigroup, Lazard, Lexicon Partners (now Evercore) and Smith Square.

He has worked successfully on a large number of complex buy-side, buy-and-built, sell-side, strategic advisory and fund raising mandates.

Many of the transactions have been cross-border, leveraging his international network and reflecting the global nature of the clients he has worked with. As Ben Franklin stated in Poor Charlie's Almanack: "No nation was ever ruined by trade."

At Stamford Mergers & Acquisitions we apply our expertise of growing and (re)-positioning companies ahead of upcoming liquidity events, sometimes well in advance of any transaction happening. Our services are entirely flexible, ranging from advising on an entire corporate finance process to a part or parts of it.
